Kaley Cuoco Reckons This Workout Routine Is Responsible For Her Insane Abs

Actress Kaley Cuoco just posted an Instagram photo with a teaser to tonight’s all-new “Big Bang Theory” episode, and oh my gosh is she making it clear that this finale is going out with a very big bang. (Sorry, had to.)


“I spend the entire episode in lingerie. Kidding just one scene – don’t miss it!” she says in her post.

In an interview with Women’s Health last fall, she chatted about the workout routine she uses to sculpt those rock-solid abs. (Hint: It involves planks and lots of them.) But she’s always been active: Kaley played tennis when she was young and t0ok up horseback riding as an adult. She also loves to lift weights but tries to switch up her routine so it doesn’t feel stale.

“If I get a little bit bored, I’ll switch over to SoulCycle, which I love too,” she said. “It’s all or nothing. I’m hot or cold. I’m not a gray area. So if I’m doing yoga, we’re doing it every day this week….Then I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I have to switch.’ Then I’m going crazy on SoulCycle….‘Okay, I have to switch.’”

When shoulder surgery temporarily sidelined her last fall, she switched things up again and focused on training at Proactive Sports Performance gym in Los Angeles, CA. “As much as I love yoga, and spin, this place has been a major refuge for me in many ways,” she wrote.” She added that the team she worked with during her recovery helped her “fall back in love” with working out. 

And clearly, these “recovery workouts” didn’t just help her mentally. All that planking and functional training is keeping her as fit as ever.
