Not again! Andy Cohen was dad-shamed for the second time this week for letting his dog, Wacha, sniff his newborn baby’s face in a new pic.
Benjamin, who was born on February 4, wore a blue onesie in the Wednesday, February 20, Instagram pic. The little one rested on his dad’s lap as the canine got up close and personal, Wacha’s nose over the baby’s.
“Many have asked how @therealwacha & his brother are getting along. Here you go!” the Watch What Happens Live host, 50, captioned the sweet shot. “#loveyourpetday.”
Many celebrities left funny comments about the Bravo star’s baby. “Love at first lick,” Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Williams wrote, and Naomi Campbell chimed in with, “Beyond adorable.”
But it wasn’t all positive feedback! Some of Cohen’s followers had a major problem with the puppy love. “Please please please be careful, Andy,” one wrote. “As much as we love our dogs, they are still animals and can be unpredictable. Don’t [let] the dog that close to the baby’s face like that. Please.”
Another added, “The germs coming from our pets that we love so much can be very harmful to [babies]. I would suggest no licking or direct contact with saliva.”
The Most Talkative author hasn’t responded to the criticism yet — but he did clap back the last time he was dad-shamed.
“Hey, I’ve been a dad for 12 days,” he said on Saturday, February 16, after being “flooded with DMs” about his pooch being jealous of his infant. “People are judge-y as f–k.”
Cohen posted a pic Opens a New Window. with Wacha and Benjamin on Thursday, February 14. “TWO Valentines! Lucky me,” he captioned the photo of him cuddling his bundle of joy in one arm and his dog in the other.
