TOKYO (Reuters) – Osaka prefectural governor Hirofumi Yoshimura said on Thursday that Olympic torch relay events planned in the city of Osaka should be canceled, the Kyodo News agency reported.
The central government has said it will impose emergency response measures in the Osaka area to prevent a rebound in coronavirus cases.
