Miranda Kerr Has Revealed Her Newest Skincare Secret

She’s a supermodel, mom, author, and entrepreneur with a global organic beauty brand to her name. You have to wonder, is there anything Miranda Kerr can’t do? Since storming onto the catwalk with Victoria’s Secret and becoming Australia’s greatest export, the supermodel has been an avid supporter of organic products – particularly when it comes to beauty and skincare. It’s this that influenced her own range, KORA Organics.

Now, Kerr is giving us all an insight into her beauty secrets, launching the range’s new Milky Mushroom Gentle Cleansing Oil which, according to Kerr, is a skin-refreshing formula based on the magic of the cleanser’s namesake: mushroom.

The cleansing oil uses silver ear mushroom as a key ingredient. Speaking to BAZAAR.com, Kerr said about the product: “That silver ear mushroom is an ingredient that I love to use because it really helps bind that moisture to your skin. It acts like a hyaluronic acid.”

She adds, “The babassu oil and apple seed oil and the sunflower seed oil, that combination with the silver ear mushroom really helps put the essential fatty acids into your skin whilst cleansing your skin in a gentle way.”

Kerr told the publication, “Even if we don’t have makeup on, I do still believe it’s important to cleanse your skin at the end of the day.” Since spending most of her time in lockdown rather than on photoshoots, Kerr says her focus has turned to skin care rather than makeup.

And if all that wasn’t enough to see you snap up the product, there’s also a word on the back of the box, near the bottom – forgiveness. It’s even inscribed on the bottle itself. “On the back of every product there’s a positive word, whether it be bliss, joy, love, radiance, forgiveness, acceptance. These words are powerful and they’re uplifting words,” says Kerr.

“The intention is to uplift the products and uplift the user. When they’re using it, they can look on the back and have that little gentle reminder to be in that positive state of mind.”
