There’s a *lot* to love about Jennifer Garner. Take her character in Suddenly 30, for example. Or fact she reads bedtime stories to her dog, Birdie. Or her profound advice on everything from how to correctly cook a turkey to the best way to heal a broken heart.
Need proof of the latter? Check out this Insta post she shared of herself and her kids dressing up during quarantine, feat. some encouraging words to a fan who shared they were going through a painful breakup.
Jennifer captioned the post, “Quarantine, but make it fashion. ?????♀️ #lockdownfierce #DMtobookyourColonialZoom ??,” which led said fan to share her personal story.
“I wish I had your happiness and feeling of security,” they wrote. “And I don’t say that resentfully because you present yourself as a good and kind person. Your actions show you to be good and kind. It’s that I have finally gotten the courage to tell my husband to leave after years of emotional abuse and I feel like I will never find happiness or security.”
They continued: “I find a sense of balm from seeing yours but it’s also mixed with a winsome feeling because I don’t think I’ll ever be there. He is so vindictive and powerful and I have nothing and no one. Why am I saying this to a stranger? I really don’t know.”
Jennifer’s response couldn’t have been sweeter – or more on the money. “Your heart sounds heavy, I am so sorry. Hopefully, you have powerful women in your corner, reminding you of your strength and your worth. Hopefully, you are able to calm your mind with prayer/meditation/ exercise/ art,” she wrote. “Laughter will come and really — it is worth fighting for. Until then, all of my love ❤️.” So darn cute!
The comment got over 400 replies from Jen’s other followers, with loads of messages of support like “You got this!” to the person who shared their story. Others praised Jen for being so kind.
