Dr Dave, from California, went viral on TikTok explaining to people the dangers of motorbiking, seeing a chiropractor, and smoking.
“This is mainly because of the things I’ve seen,” said Dr Dave. “And I’ve seen a lot of these cases; it’s scarred me for life, I gotta [sic] say.”
Dr Dave elaborated on the devastating risks he has witnessed by those who ride on a motorbike.
“The number of patients, young patients, both men and female… that have gotten into severe accidents from their motorbikes and have been left paralysed, in a coma, completely in a vegetative state, is unreal,” said Dr Dave.
As patients have lost their lives or been unable to have a good quality of life after a motorbike accident, Dr Dave said the activity is just not worth it for him.

“The risk and benefit of that just doesn’t add up,” said Dr Dave. “As much as I’m an adrenaline junkie, the risk is just not worth it. I like my life.”
Dr Dave is also not willing to see a chiropractor, as many patients of his have experienced a tear along the vertebral artery that runs along the back of the neck.
The vertebral artery supplies the brain and spine with oxygen-rich blood and, when it tears, it can lead to a life-threatening stroke.
Stroke symptoms as pointed out by the NHS:
- Face – the face may have dropped on one side, the person may not be able to smile, or their mouth or eye may have drooped.
- Arms – the person may not be able to lift both arms and keep them there because of weakness or numbness in one arm.
- Speech – their speech may be slurred or garbled, or the person may not be able to talk at all despite appearing to be awake; they may also have problems understanding what you’re saying to them.
- Time – it’s time to dial 999 immediately if you notice any of these signs or symptoms.

“It’s just not worth a nice little crack,” said Dr Dave. “I’d rather get a massage or just go lie in a pool.”
Dr Dave will also not pick up the unhealthy habit of smoking as he has witnessed the carnage it can cause.
“I think everyone knows this, but cigarettes [are] one of the deadliest substances out there, along with all the additives that go in there,” said Dr Dave.
“I’ve seen more patients than I can count coming in with complications from their smoking, whether that’s lung-related, cancer, etc.”
